Andhra Pradesh (AP) is a beautiful state located on the southeastern coast of India, known for its rich culture, heritage, and spirituality. The state was formed on 1 November 1956 and is popularly called the “Rice Bowl of India.”

Andhra Pradesh shares its borders with Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Odisha. It has a long coastline along the Bay of Bengal, stretching over 970 km — the second longest in India.

The state has over 53 million people (as per the 2021 estimate). The official and most widely spoken language is Telugu, which is one of the classical languages of India.
